I would really just wait and see what your doctor finds when you go and see him..you don’t want to do anything that could cause you more discomfort.

The pain of anal fissure is more like what you describe, but it is really impossible to differentiate that from internal hemorrhoids which also sometimes are painful. Usually the bleeding is seen when one defecates…also the pain is usually felt during defecation. If you have itching, that makes me lean toward thinking of hemorrhoids, but again, it can occur with a fissure as well. So, I guess I’m not too helpful here!!!
